From ColorCache, to you.
Bad news: My camera was stolen. So, I can't post any new crayons until I have a new one and that doesn't look like it's going to be anytime soon. I'm really sad about it. I thought about closing up shop, but I may as well leave up what I already have until it sells.

Woah, Has It Been 5 Days?
I guess I've been super busy because it's been five days since I blogged. I have been taking care of orders, working on creating my own custom cupcake mold (so excited!) and Christmas present shopping. I think I'm about done with the latter, finally! It's so exhausting.

Hot Chocolate Weather
It's chilly enough that when I go outside to take my pictures I have to bring a cup of hot chocolate with me. Milk, not water. I can't drink it with water anymore, even though that's what I was raised on. Milk? Check. Marshmallows? Check. M&Ms? CHECK! 1 million calories per cup? Triple CHECK!

100 Fans!
I woke up to a special surprise this morning- 100 Fans on the Facebook page! That makes my endless and shameless promotion totally worth it.
In a few days (the 13th), I'll be on Etsy for one month. I think I've done pretty alright for myself so far and can't wait to see how much better I can do. In this month, I've been featured quite a number of places:
Blogs:
This gift guide.
This blog.
Treasuries:
Wall Street GREEN is Good
Might I suggest a colorful holiday gift guide?
eco-christmas
Legoland
Gift ideas for the crafty, creative child
Holiday Gift Ideas & Stocking Stuffers under $15
Kid's Christmas gifts for $10 and under!!
Rudolph
Pretty Pink for Christmas and beyond
I've been pretty busy the past few days. Last night we went out to Applebees at 10:30 at night. I love, love, love the Chicken Penne off the 2 for 20 menu. It is the most delicious nummieness known to man. It could only be better if it had bacon.
Today's game plan is to make stuff to restock my store, ship the sales I made yesterday and work my other job. I've been getting side-tracked this week with other projects.
A pouch for me. I'm not quite sure what for yet.
A pouch for my boyfriend's mom to keep her phone around her neck. She said it's "adorbable". (Intentional typo :) ) <-- Doesn't that make it look as though my smiley face has a double chin?

Spotlight Thursday- NeonCanvasStudio
This is somebody I met in chat about a week ago. NeonCanvasStudio lives close to me, which is what initially got me to take interest in their store.

Shop!
I think I'm having a stay-in-by-myself night tonight. I really want to work ChaCha (the company I work for) and watch ridiculous Netflix movies.

NBT 10 and Business Cards
I went to an all day concert yesterday. This was actually the concert that I first saw my boyfriend at (and was too afraid to say hi) last year. Really now, who would have thought that someone who caught my eye from a distance would be someone who lived right down the street from somewhere I worked for almost a year? I'm surprised I never saw him. Regardless, it was nice to be there with him this year. We sat on the lawn with friends and had tons of snack/junk food. All in all, it was a good day.
Throughout the day, there were spontaneous performances and I happened to get pretty darn close for the Switchfoot one. Everyone else stayed in their seats, but Megan and I are adventurers!
Ta-Da! This is the shirt he wore last year when I noticed him too. He stuck out. :)
It was pretty chilly out as the day wore on. I'm glad I made a scarf Saturday!
And finally, the mail-man brought me these today! I was surprised because I had forgotten that I ordered them. I can't wait to start giving them out!

Apple Pie and Kitty Cats
Today was surprisingly cold, which was nice. I love when it's actually a little chilly here, like it should be. I think temperatures were in the 40's when we left Game Night tonight. Nothing beats playing Apples to Apples for hours with friends. I even made some mini apple pies for the occasion, but I left them at the boyfriend's house because I thought they were too doughy to bring for a group. I'm a big critic of myself. I think they would have been better had I rolled the dough out thinner, but it actually took 4 hours to do all the prep PLUS 3 hours to chill that stupid dough. I was beyond DONE with the recipe by that point. I really love the blog I got the recipe from, and I'm sure if I had more patience they would have turned out delish, just like everything else I've made from that blog. Here's the recipe in case anyone wants to brave it. Next time I'll just make a whole pie using her filling ingredients because that part was yummeh to the max.
Yesterday I cut up one of my old Walgreens shirts and made my cats a catnip toy. They decided they didn't want to share, so to avoid a feud, I quickly rolled up a sock, stuffed it with stuffing and catnip. Tilly ended up stealing BOTH toys in the end. The stinker.
Rainbow asking her little sister to share.
Tilly saying "but I'm a baby and I get both!"

Legos, Legos, Legos
New legos in the shop!
Boyfriend is coming back from Pennsylvania tonight. I can't wait to go see him. I don't imagine I'll get any work done tonight, etsy or otherwise. It was only a few days but I super-missed him.
New Snowman Upcycled Crayons!
These will be making their way into my shop over the next day, along with more trees, Legos, Candy Canes and Gingerbread men. How exciting!

Black Friday
I don't know if it's because of Black Friday or because people are finding me more via my blog, flickr, twitter, Facebook, etc, but I've gotten a LOT of email today about my shop. I think that is so cool and each time I go "Squee!" on the inside. I was also featured in my first ever treasury HERE. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has e-mailed me/commented/etc. It's awesome to be noticed!

New Glasses and New Calendar
Picked up my new glasses at the doctor's office today. Don't think I'll ever wear them. Maybe occassionally. I much prefer my contacts.
I've got some cookies 'n cream fudge in the refrigerator firming up right now. I'm taking it to game night at Starbucks tonight. Also, check out this awesome Calendar that my favorite Chinese place gave me yesterday when I got lo mein for lunch. I love the owners.

My First Treasury
I made a treasury of Upcycled/Recycled things yesterday since that's something I'm actually quite passionate about. Low views/click so check it out HERE.
I'm tempted to buy the Mt. Dew puzzle myself. I'm a Mt. Dew addict and we've been working on a puzzle for about a month. On and off, but working on it nonetheless. It's a kitten but we think there's something wrong with it because the top border ends up being longer than the bottom border? It's kind of frustrating.

Phoebe in Wonderland
Netflix recommended the movie Phoebe in Wonderland for me a week or so ago. I added it to the instant queue without reading the synopsis, just because I liked the cover. Am I the only person who does this? Today I opened up the IMDB and saw the name "Elle Fanning". While I have an aversion to Dakota Fanning, I've found that her little sister, Elle, is less shrill and annoying than she is. This was a good movie to sit back and crochet to. Really mellow. I liked it.
Bravo, Netflix. You've actually recommended something I liked, unlike the time you recommended the snooze-fest movie about the Muslim who discovers he's really a Jewish man. Next on my list is Babies. I watched the first five minutes or so of it with the boyfriend, whilst making our own commentary, but it ended up being too much infant, not enough explosions, bacon and manstuff for him.

Baking
In bed today. I've got a wicked cold. At first I thought it was just allergies but I've got a pretty horrendous fever too. There's only so much Nyquil I can take, though, so I'm doing a little baking to keep myself awake.

A'Thriftin We Went
This morning I called my boyfriend at 8 am. Yes, on a Saturday. Let's go thrifting, I declared. "No, sleepy" No, thrifting! Back and forth, back and forth. Eventually, I won because I'm awesome and he loves me. And it's a good thing too, because we got three games in new condition for $8. Apples to Apples and In a Pickle still have the plastic wrap around the cards. Who buys games to never play them??? I also got a really ugly snowman.
We started the day with some Mc D's because I had buy one get one free coupons. I also had a coupon for a free caramel mocha drink, which I got just because I wanted to test out my new cozy pattern.
I should have bought this.
Boyfriend thinks it's cool to act like a stalker sometimes. I laugh in the face of impending abduction.
